Aid in Myanmar

aid-in-myanmar
Please continue to pray for the military junta of Myanmar. There are reports of their seizing supply shipments and replacing it with spoiled and/or stale food. The government has been characterized as ‘xenophobic’ and has been paranoid that the ships carrying aid supplies are getting ready for an invasion. Some have even called for an invasion of Burma to release the people from the rule of the junta.

Slowly, aid is getting into the country, but the government is not doing what they can. The official casualty count is up to 38,000, but there are now international reports of upwards of 127,000 dead. Also there are reports of another tropical storm brewing in the next 24 hours that will hit the same Irrawaddy Delta region again.
